2024 PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARY ELECTION | MARCH 19, 2024

Military & Overseas Absentee Voting: Begins February 2

Deadline to Register to Vote: February 20 (Boards open until 9:00 p.m.)

Early In-Person Voting: February 21 and includes the two Saturdays and the Sunday before Election Day.

Absentee Voting By Mail: Begins February 21

Election Day: March 19 (Polls Open 6:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.) If not returned by mail, absentee ballots must be received by your board of elections by 7:30 p.m.

FEBRUARY

February 2: Military and Overseas Absentee Voting begins

February 21: Absentee Voting by Mail begins (Ends March 18, postmark deadline)

February 21: Early In-Person Voting begins

MARCH

March 12: Absentee ballot applications must be received by your board of elections by 8:30 p.m.

February 21-23: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

February 26 – March 1: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

March 4-8: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

March 9: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

March 11: 7:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.

March 12: 7:30 a.m. – 8:30 p.m.

March 13-15: 7:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.

March 16: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

March 17: 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

MARCH

March 18: Mailed absentee ballots must be postmarked by this date.

March 19: Primary Election: Polls are open from 6:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.

March 19: Absentee Ballots may be returned by mail or personally delivered to your county board of elections. If not returned by mail, absentee ballots must be received by your board of elections by 7:30 p.m.

March 23: Last day for boards of elections to receive absentee ballots that have been postmarked on or before March 18.
